Thanks for replying John, so are you saying that the gearbox, rear-diff and hydraulics all use the same oil and the dipstick situated by the side of hand brake checks the level for all three, and filling takes place from under the seat? Because it seems as those there are two drain plugs in the casing one under the gear box and another towards the rear, which would tend to suggest to me that gearbox and diff are separate, I have a filler plug just to the left of the gear leaver view from the sitting position which I took to be the gearbox filler but can't see any side plug to indicate the correct level.
Am I correct in thinking this.
