Transmission/Clutch Issues

I have a mid 90's 1920 with a SSS transmission that is having some issues. Not sure if it is clutch or transmission problem.

Last summer started having trouble getting it into gear. Now this winter after an hour or so of pushing snow the clutch will not disengage. It won't drop out of gear. It works ok when first starting out.

Is this just an adjustment issue or replacement?

The clutch pedal should have 3/4 to 1 3/16" free play. I'd say check that for starters.
