Bought a 1973 Ford 2000 and the transmission brake lever was cut off any idea where I can obtain the replacement parts?

The parts can be found through any New Holland dealer under the 3 cylinder 2000 model and transmission handbrake. Parts are still available, but new, the lever alone is $270, while thw rod, seal and other parts run anogher $170 +/-. Best look for a used tractor yard for the parts.

Might have been cut off for a reason. More pricy parts inside damages?
