I have a dk35 with 26hr on it now.
do you check the level off the tranny with the tractor running or not.
When i check the tranny level it shows all most off the dip stick when the tractor is not running.
But when i start it up the level shows middel to bottom off marks

thanks

My CK20 manual states to shut off the engine. I imagine it would be the same for yours, but I'm not sure. What does your manual say under service section for hydro/transmission fluid? John

Should be checked while tractor is off, same goes for engine oil. Level should be at the top mark.

The manual actually states that it can be between the lower and upper mark, and it may be a good idea to be near the top mark, but be careful not to go higher than that. Over filling can cause the fluid to foam, thus rendering it almost useless. That clear hydro fluid is very difficult to see on my CK20 dip stick. John

Also it’s a good idea to check your level with the loader all the way down. If you check it with the loader up and fill your fluid to the top level then you could be overfull when you let the loader down. Most all UTF fluid these days has anti-foaming agents in the fluid so foaming shouldn't really be a problem.
