Kubota Dealer told me they do not make a trailer hitch for G1800 with 4WS because you'll turn into the trailer. They offered to fabricate one. Has anyone done this? Other options?

Sounds like the dealer is being responsive to your needs! You have to have caution with any trailer!!!!!

I put a ball on my rear steer mower. It is far enough back to work just fine.

Agree on distance makes them work. I have installed hitches on several mowers including ZTs and they work great just your allowing distance for turning and being responsible when operating, knowing full well you have a trailer back there and keeping it in mind in turns. One of my installations was adapting my first DR leaf vac to my ZT mower. The hitch was a no brainer. The main consideration was what to do with the min and max suction hose on tight turns......a vertical pole mounted on the front right corner of the frame of the vac. with bungie cords to the hose solved that problem.
