Kubota BX2660
Seriously looking to get a B2601 with BH, FEL, & MMM. My BX2660 is a 2011 with about 550 hours on it, with FEL and 54" MMM, all in rather good shape, stored indoors, maintained, etc.

So, I could trade it in, which would get me minimum $$$, or I could post it in the classifieds (maximum $$$?), or maybe sell it to a neighbor at a 'good' price.

Wondering how much it's worth, what to sell it for, and such?

Any comments would be welcome.

Thanks.

So given the fact the one Prichard provided a link for has a asking price of 8,500 and yours has a loader, 11,500 to 12,500 should be good starting points for a trade or sale.

Thank guys :)

I did check some stuff out. Nothing comparable on CL today. TH numbers look close to Gator6x4 numbers, $11.5-12.5k at the top end. I called the dealer to ask about trade-in, which also benefits by a 6.25% sales tax savings on the trade-in (not ag-exempt). So, I'll stir that together and see what makes sense.

Interestingly, the purchase price for a comparably equipped BX2670 is $18k.

Thanks.

i'VE TRADED OVER 15 TIMES WITH bARLOWS. With the 6% sales tax deduction it usually works pretty good to trade with him ather than deal with low ballers and time wasters and potential criminals casing my place. I did sell one to a fine man in NC and Barlows delivered it . More to consider than just dollars.

OP -
Location, Location, Location.
Are you in a farm area where tractors under 100HP are considered golf carts? Or in suburbia so dense people come around and gawk at your tractor like it was a misplaced nuclear sub?

And why get rid of it? Money? Many of us here believe in the 1 tractor/1 attachment philosophy :)

Suburban Fort Worth, so it's a mixed bag. Quite a lot of landscaping firms could put one to use, homes with acreage, ranchettes, small horse farms, even hunting leases, and etc. Nobody would be farming wit it.

If I kept it, I'd probably add a mini-ex. But, I can't justify a mini-ex based on use level, whereas I could justify a back-hoe attachment form my CUT.

I'm gonna see what the dealer will give me for the BX2660. If I can get $10k, that makes the B2601 rig $18k out of pocket. It would be better with my current 48" rotary cutter and grading scraper too..

I'm about ready to pull the trigger.

Maybe it's how much hassle one wants to deal with. I traded my 2009 BX2660 (FEL + MMM) on a new B2620 (FEL +MMM) in 2012 with the same dealer for $10,000. It had 450 hrs but looked brand new. I just drove in with the old one and drove out with the new one.
Cheers,
Mike

With an objective figure in mind one may want to shop more than one dealer and see how it goes. I've never taken a trade in to Barlows before the transaction. I tell him hours and condition of my trade in, he gives me bottom line price difference and a delivery estimate and I sign the papers and Marvin delivers my new machine and picks up the dirty/maybe muddy old one. You may want to try Barlows, they deliver to many States and the State tax on the difference isn't an issue because there isn't any.
