Greetings! After moving from my 8 acre spread to little less than an acre, I unfortantly am finding that my New Holland rig is (gulp) TOO BIG!

I've searched the Internet but can't get any idea of the value of what I need to trade or sell for something smaller -- does anyone have any guess?

I have a 1998 New Holland 1630 with foldable ROPS and the "easy hitch" 3-pt hitch, bar tires, but NO SuperSteer, with 232 hours... it has always been garage kept and looks like new. It also has the 4-port hydraulic kit.

I also have the 702C 78" front blade, and the 930B 72" rear finish mower.

Again, any guess as to what this might be worth for sale or as a trade-in would be greatly appreciated! OR, if anyone near the Charleston/Huntington, West Virginia area would like to BUY this setup, give me a shout! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks! Oh, and sadly, there are no New Holland dealers within 75 miles of here, so I am stuck shopping for either a Deere or a Kubota -- the Kubota BS2230 is in the lead right now...

I forgot to mention that the tractor has the HST... but I think the model number maybe reflects that. Thanks again!

The Kubota guy just called -- they are willing to *sell* me a BX2230 with 60" mower and a back blade (manual drag-along type) for $2900 plus my 1630 & attachments... or I can buy their setup for $9,900... which means all of my stuff is only worth $7,000.

That seems pretty low to me (I paid close to $17,000 for it all)... and the one or two I've seen on eBay have had a lot more hours -- and a lot more rust -- for around $10,000, but I don't know if they ever sold. Might need to run mine on eBay, except for the shipping headache! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Tractor alone should be worth $5-6000 more than that PLUS implements. But you're going to be competing with the TC30's out there that have 24 PTO HP with the Hydro.

By the way.........welcome to TBN /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

According to the intertec guide it should be worth between $11,763 and $13,458 and that does not include implements.

Thanks for the quick feedback, guys! The price they quoted on the new Kubota was competitive... but it looks like I should try to sell the NH myself!

Has anyone here sold equipement on eBay?

Thanks again!!! I wish I'd found you all sooner! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I sold a Yanmar on eBay with very favorable results for me. The buyer felt he got a great deal too.
