tractor wont start

hi everyone
My 1997 Kubota B21 wont start when i turn the key. If i run a wire from the battery to the low voltage side (BW) of the solenoid it starts just fine. Does anyone have a wiring diagram of this model? i have swiches at the PTO, clutch pedal,and transmissio shifter. Are there any others? My plan is to jump each switch til I get juice at the low voltage terminal of the solenoid. Is there a particular order to these switches? The Clutch connector has BW and BY on one side and BW and BW on the other. Both PTO and Trany connectors are BY and BB on one side and BW and BW on the other. Your help is appreciated. Gary

Usually there is a seat on the seat to detect an operator is present.

I am not certain on your particular model but often each switch sends a signal individually to a controller which then send power to the starter.

This is because not all switches do the same result on the tractor starting or running. For example, the pto switch may only affect and alarm if you are n ot in the seat and the pto is engaged. The pto switch may prevent starting if it is engaged.

I have the same problem. Been dealing cheating it for a year now. There are safeties (three) that need to engage (plunger type) that maybe bad (I think mine are) in fact I am researching a thread I started long ago that has the solution. There is one on your clutch pivot, seat and I believe your 3 point.

I believe I was told (That's what I am looking for) that you can test the safeties with a OHM meter for resistance. Apparently they build up corrosion inside and fail. I have been jumping mine for way too long and I have committed to fixing it now!
