Tractor won’t start

Have a Kioti DK40 that won’t start put a new battery but it still won’t start. The starter solenoid just clicks as before. Need help please have a bunch of work to do. Thanks jlimasf350

Several points to check.
1) I have seen new batteries be bad
2) connections of battery cables need to be clean, free of corrosion and any other things prevent good contact. This is not only true for the ends at the battery but starter and frame points.
3) all connections need to be tight and secure.
If these do not get it to start, you may have solenoid, starter or ignition switch issues.

Are you good with a voltmeter....or a screwdriver?
I’d check if voltage is getting to the solenoid and starter.
Basically when you turn the key, and all safety interlock switches are satisfied (sear switches, PTO off, etc) key switch passes a small current to the magnetic coil part of the starter solenoid (the small wire).
When magnetized, it mechanically pulls closed a high current contactor switch (the big wire terminals), passing power to the starter. This is probably the click you’re hearing.

With a bit of research, there’s some ways to bypass starter contact with a screwdriver or jumper cables, etc.. and energize starter directly to test starter. Make sure tractor isn’t in gear or can move when attempting this and standing in front of tire.

Many times, there’s a simple fix like cleaning where the battery’s negative terminal connects to the tractor’s.

Could be failing starter solenoid, could be worn or pitted high current contact in solenoids is failing.... If you buy pass solenoid contacted per Codys remarks and starter spins it is a bad solenoid...
