I have a TC30 with 11 hours it. While mowing a steep bank this weekend the tractor seemed like it was trying to shut off. I lost power had to push clutch in and rew up motor. This happens while going down hill. The bank is probably to steep to be on but tractor still should not shut off.
Anyone have this happen to them.
Thanks

Downshift

Daryl, it is possible that when going downhill your weight is shifted forward and you do not have enough pressure on the seat to keep the seat switch activated. This would cause the engine to shut down.

Thanks. That is what I thought or was hoping. It has only done it a couple of times and was always on a fairly steep downhill ride.I can go up the same part of the hill and have plenty of power. Just feel more comfortable going down.
Thanks

Bob,
No the grass was not that high. Also not having any problems going up on the same hill. Just tries to quit going down.
Thanks
