What's the best buy +/- 30hp utility tractor brand? Looking for 4 wheel drive and enough PTO hp drive a 6 foot finish mower?

Looj at a L2800/3400 or the L3240 any of those would work for you.....The L3400 is most likely the best value

All the responses that you get, will be what the individual buyers decided to buy themsevles.

There are vast differences between the different brand tractors that are out there. Any will do what you describe. We need more info into what else you plan to do, your tollance for problems, how long you plan to keep it, etc, etc.

Since this is the Kubota owners forum I suspect you'll get alot of recommendations for Kubota as the brand. I have a 6' RFM and used it on a B7800 and a L3240HST. Both handled it as far as power. The L would slow down at the crest of the hill but the B never did slow down. At the bottom of the hill the 6'RFM would sort of swing the B7800 tractor around but it was no surprise so no problem. My first 6' RFM was light weight and broke a few times. Traded it back to Barlows for a 6' Landpride RFM and it's a tank. As Messicks stated you need to give more info of needs, terrain of land and money to spend.
