Tractor junk yard?

Does anyone know of a tractor junkyard in Nevada or California? I've looked online and can't find anything? Looking specifically for John Deere parts. Thanks

Can't speak for your area but I have used both Abilene machine and bridgeport tractor. For the most part they deal with ag machines but have a fair amount of inventory and even some new aftermarket parts.

There's a junkyard between Delano and McFarland on Pond Road about five miles west of Hwy 99. I can't find my notes with the name and I only found it from their billboard along the freeway.
It shows on google maps but I couldn't find a listing online. Perhaps you'll have better luck with a search.

Cool, thanks for the help. It's a start. The prices they want for new parts at a dealer are ridiculous. Greenfarm parts and greenparts are better but some parts have to be cheaper at a junk yard! Maybe wishful thinking but u just want a resource that I can be comparative with too. I had to replace a steering bracket recently and the part cost $300. The mechanic said he found a used one for $250, so for $50 more I went with the new one. I hate letting someone else work on my stuff but I was in a time crunch.

You would probably be better off looking for parts for a 955 in areas where they were popular. Can't see this being popular in Nevada. Look into areas with a high density population and large industrial parks, these were popular tractors for large area mowing in these places. I would think if you have the part number for what you need the large junk yards can ship them to you. That is done everyday.
