Well we found out what the spark I saw when my engine block cracked.. One of the bolts on the top of the bell housing must have shot clean out like a tracer... it was missing...
HST pump is leaking. Again (it was repaired once before, under warranty about 2 years ago). it appears that a log must have pushed up into the oil pan at one point, and smooshed the pan down a little, messing up the pickup screen. More repairs. Yay me.
