tractor games / simulators?

There is farming simulator, sim tractor, john deere drive green and one other one. Farming simulator is fun but not very realistic in terms of physics (you can run a tractor and attachment down the side of the mountain, roll several times and end up "bouncing" back onto your wheels to carry on your way, plus it has multiplayer. Sim tractor is more real in terms of physics but the graphics aren't the greatest but I'm still drawn to playing it once in a while.

is there any "rotatory cutting" in woods? with or without FEL? is there any physics for getting a light front end? or use of left and right rear split breaks?

operating FEL to dig, or move stuff around?

is there any plowing, say 1 or 2 bottom plow disc. and wanting to keep eye on things, to make sure tires do not start spinning or needing to lift the plow?

is there any grading driveway and putting on a crown?

or is most of the jobs all computer driven, and you just choose what you want to do. and you just press left, right, up and down?

In farming simulator you have to have the right ballast to counter what's on the rear or you will get light on the front end. The only kind of cutting for grass on both farming simulator and sim tractor is used for cattle feed but uses a special mower and not a rotary mower or bush hog.

Both use FEL and pallet forks but mostly to move bales and dig in a maneur pile to load the spreader

There is plowing on both and discing, you have to keep an eye on where the plow is going or you can make a mess of things quickly. I haven't encountered spinning tires where I needed to lift the plow up but that could be because I use larger equipment that can more than handle the task.

there is no grading the driveway but sim tractor has winter time in it and you have to either snow blow or use the FEL to push snow off of your driveway. The jobs aren't computer driven, you start up and do whatever you want cause it's open world. But the goal of each is to do like in real life in terms of ground work to planting to harvesting the crops and everything in between. You choose when to sell your crops cause the market fluctuates then use the money to keep your machines fueled up (both) or to hire help (in farming simulator) or buy bigger and better machines (both.) YouTube has a ton of videos of the games in action. You can either use arrow keys to steer or you can use a steering wheel ad petals or if you have steering wheels and petals plus joystick you can use all three (joystick for FEL use and combine header.) also check out these websites.

I was in Office Depot today looking at pc software and saw a John Deere farming simulator for $9.99, I started to get it but I didn't. You had to set up a big farm and if it was profitable early on, you could earn Deere Dollars to "unlock" more implements to do more farming. Too bad we can't earn Deere Dollars for hobby farming LOL. For $10, I might have to go back and get me a copy.

That's the one I was referring to with the drive green, it's good for a game, you do jobs for neighbors farms for Deere dollars so you can buy equipment to work on your farm and it even has a side game where you find fossil pieces through out the map and have a dinosaur skeleton in your barn.

tried....

John Deere drive green
was an actual game for kids, with goals to meet. earn points to buy stuff. seemed hard to drive, very touchy

John Deere American farmer
a lot of computer driven doings, other words you manged stuff, assign a worker to do something, and computer takes over to do the task. it was farm management.

Farming Simulator | Official Website
seems like a full 3D you do everything, driving, plowing, disc, harvesting, bailing, etc.. like John Deere drive green game. but seems like more for the hard core simulator fans. and built more for adults. seemed like you could easier control things.

Welcome to SimTractor Game
have not tried yet.

i am interested in "farming simulator 2011" more so a bunch of "MODS" search for "farming simulator 2011 MODS" and wealth of websites, to download 100's of more tractors, cars, trucks, implements, different crops, different maps, etc...

does anyone know of a good site, to easily download multi "MODS" in a single download?

I love the mods in farming simulator, I always drive around using big bud as my tractor, and my grain truck is a semi pulling 10 trailers, harvest all the fields and 1 truck load to do it all. There is a 2013 version coming out (not sure when) and it looks even bigger and better.

Not sure where you can download mod packs.
