Tractor can't get into gear

I recently changed my hydraulic pump for my massey 240 , everything went well but i started the tractor and i can't change the gears, is there anything i need to check?

Need more information do handles wobble around
Did you take shift cover off
Does tractor move at all
Did you put drive coupler back in with cutter pin, put in backwards will fall off

There is no wobbling and shift cover was never taken off. You can start the tractor but when you try to engage gears that's when it fails

When you replaced pump did you put coupler back on it is on shaft out of gear drive on back of trans connects shaft to pinion assemble
