I just bought a chevy suburban scottsdale 20 6.2 litre diesel it has 8 lugs on rear wheel does anybody know if its 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton.

I would think its a 3/4ton. I would look at the info panel on the driver door of bring the serial number to a GM dealer and get them to pull up the vehicle info.

Should be 3/4 ton. What's the GVWR? Its on the door sticker on the drivers door jamb.

You didn't say what year, but I'm assuming with a 6.2 it's mid to late 80's? 8 lug would be 3/4 ton stuff.

Scottsdale 20 is 3/4T. 10 series is 1/2T, 30 would be 1T.
8 lug wheels are 3/4 and 1 Ton.
