Torque setting for Cessna Hydraulic pump?

The engine mounted pump is a problem though, just any pump will not fit.....

Hmmm - I had a similar problem with an old (water) pump mount on a fire-fighting pump. Turned out a local machine shop was able to make an "adaptor" plate to bolt it to a new motor at an astonishingly cheap price! You might get lucky and be able to source an appropriate spec pump and have it "adapted" to fit? Just a (lateral) thought!

Thanks Kevin, that is an option. One I would prefer to stay away from if possible, but it might come to that.

Anyone know much about Thompson pumps and service/parts locations/sites ?

They are on IH tractors and seem to be in the same boat as the Cessna pumps. I am just starting to look for one of those or a rebuilder for a friend.
