TORO Wheel Horse 520Xi

Hey folks,
Wanted to know if this was a good tractor. Posted in our local CL. It is a 1998 Toro -Wheel Horse 520Xi with a 60" deck and 700hrs on the clock.1 owner and used for yard mowing. Runs great, looks great and made in the USA and steel. IT is heavy. Anyone have any experience with these?
They want $1600 including a 10cu pull behind trailer.

My father has one very similar.I think it might be the next model up. Great machine. Yes they are heavy. The tractor alone is roughly 1200 lbs I think. It has been very reliable and is nice to drive. $1600 seems like a fair price.

Great, thank you. It seems quite solid compared to all the new "Heavy Duty" ones I have been looking at. The deck on the thing must weight 200LBS!!

Howdy, Long time since last post. I found a local listing for a 2000 Kubota g1800 with 168hrs on it and 54" deck. Looks clean and well maintained. The fellow wants $4600 for it. I was thinking of getting that and selling my 520xi that has 800hrs and a 60" deck. 1) what are your thoughts on the Kubota? I love my Diesel B7800 and think the g1800 is just as well built? 2) is this too much to ask for a 13 year old Garden tractor? Thanks again

Only a year and you already want to sell it? Is there something wrong with the wheel horse?

Nothing wrong with it, just have an opportunity for something in Diesel with almost no hrs (168) on it but the price seems high for something 13 yrs old. I would also like to get a blade for it but seems impossible tio find (for the wheelhorse)
