so, I took my fathers LX460s mower deck off to replace the power belt (who is the ... gentleman that designed this system???)
After four tries to get the belt on and fitting over all the pulleys, still not sure I have it correct. I remembered I had to take the bracket off that holds the end of the "pto" cable on the frame (the one nearest the "pto" lever). When I took it off I remounted it... but, it is not correct. The angle of the cable to the "pto" arm is all wrong and when I pull the cable the tension spring bottoms out before the belt gets tight. It is a 90 inch belt so it should even be 1/2 inch shorter than the original.
Does anyone have a picture of what this should look like?
