Toro 524 Snowblower Electric Starter

Anyone have an old Toro sitting somewhere that has a working electric starter? I have a 1974 524 that still works like a charm but cannot find the nylon gear that is shot.

Tecumseh or Briggs engine? Briggs the part should still be available with Tecumseh they might want you to buy the whole starter.

Tecumseh, I have tried all the local places that work on Snow Blowers. I have also tried Ebay. Any tips on a good website to find Tecumseh parts?

If you are close to Rockford, IL try Nicholson Garden store. They carry a good inventory of parts and will order what they don't have.
