Top N Tilt for creating drainage swales?

My experiences with my backhoe tells me that your backhoe would be the way to cut the ditch. You can use the outriggers to get all of your angles, slopes, etc. It will go alot faster than you think...

I guess I should have clarified! The swales that were the subject of the original discussion are already done. I did it with the rear blade and manually adjusted as required. This went very quickly. Now I will be grading around 2 acres, plus finishing and maintaining a 450' drive. I have enough time in with the rear blade to know I want tilt for sure, and perhaps a hydraulic tip link at some point. All options are too expensive right now. It seems that an open center control off the PB and some cylinders from CCM is the cheapest option.

Hey Tuolumne,
If you get the time to post some pics, I would like to see how the finished drainage swales turned out. I need to do the same thing on the sides of my 1000' driveway and I am planning on using a rear blade to do it.

Thanks
