Top Gear Toughest truck

I saw the show last night. Super Duty 450,Ram and Chevy H.D. Not really a clear winner. All were pretty good. They gave it to the Chevy with a laugh.

Ford pulled down two telephone poles
Chevy pulled train engine and one car
Ram pulled down a house

That show is a joke. Its not based on facts, just opinion. Ford wins this week and Chevy next week. The following week Dodge gets the nod.

I love the show but it has nothing to do with which is better no matter if they are testing trucks or station wagons. It more about beating the **** out of stuff and have fun doing it. Its which guy can crack more jokes, give the others a hard time, and more importantly who does the most advertizing during the show.

It was the GM that pulled the telephone poles and the Ford that pulled the 140 ton train.

Most of their stuff is just that, stuff. It does annoy me when Jeremy Snarkson ridicules all things American....what nerve.....like he and his limey crooked teeth are better than me...But above it all, they are usually funny because they are so mean to each other.

Your just mad at the FACT that the GM and Dodge easily climbed the steep run-away truck stop whereas the Ford got stuck half way up.

I saw the US version where they did the trucks. Thought it was dumb.

I like the UK version a lot better.

Top Gear US right? TGUS sucks. Most annoying show ever?

Everybody knows that the Toughest Truck according to the only Top Gear that matters (TGUK) is the Toyota Hilux.

So tough it can fall from a skyscraper being demoed, submerged in the ocean, had a caravan dropped on it and just all around abused; And it still ran under its own power. So tough it was the only vehicle they honoured by placing it on a plinth.

Show me a little Toyota Hilux that can tow 10k lbs plus while taking some punishment.
Here's a truck that can do both.

1 Million Miles and going strong.

By the way, that truck was fixed after every test before seeing if it still ran. ANY truck can run after that "punishment" if it's fixed first...
