The general feeling here is that they are well worth the money. I didn't have one on my BX22, so I don't have personal experience. You don't want to buy anything too heavy for that bucket. Markham welding seems to be the place most buy theirs....... here is a link:

There are MANY threads on this topic. Check out Markham, Woods and ATI for a few. Toothbars are a must for digging, grubbing/brush removal. The difference is like night and day.

Mine happens to be a woods, a little pricey but I got it as a package with my 23. Takes maybe 5 mins to R&R. Sure makes FEL excavating much faster.

I was just wondering what I should expect price wise for one?

$200-$300 including installation.

I paid $185 for a Gearmore 6 tooth bar when I got my BX24. The dealer carried Gearmore as a line, and was able to essentially meet the Markham price. No extra charge for installation.

It is held on by 4 heavy set screws, so no welding required. The teeth look a little sharper than the Markham and it has done real well with some digging/smoothing I've been doing with the loader.

Pics of my bar are on the BX Wiki tooth bar page at Tooth Bar - BXTractors.info: The Kubota BX Wiki
