Tool Box

Put a tool box on my R3039H.

Box is a poly ammo box from Cabela's. It is a nice small water proof box that is less than $10.00. Used existing threaded holes on the tractor so no drilling required.

On my R3039 I took off the right step and mounted a toolbox.

here's mine, I got the box from HF and made an angle iron frame for it, I unbolted the original step and created a frame using the existing bolt holes. I can take the box out if I need to but I just leave it in with the tools and pins, etc, i need for the tractor.

My tractor doesn't have a step on the right side so I will probably mount mine here too ! I like the 50 cal. box . Nice having tapped holes to use huh?

I like how you went to the extra effort to build a frame for the amo box to mount it.
Where did you get the LS Blue paint ?
That is a real neat job and i think i will copy it for my XG3135 thanks!

most of us use rustoleum safety blue....it's a real close match too. From what I've studied out, the LS color is 'NEW New Holland/Ford" or something like that. It's just a shade or so different than the original New Holland color

Looks good Papa but i had a hand hold installed on my right fender i use the hand hold when cutting grass on stepe inclines that i have, if i didnt need the hand hold that would work very nicely and the color looks good also.
