I have sure enjoyed the TBN, you guys have some great idea and fixes.
Here is how I mounted a 50 cal ammo box on my BX2200.
I removed the SMV bracket from the ROP and mounted the ammo box on the SMV mount, then mounted the SMV bracket on the ammo box,
Then I mounted a strap using an existing hole under the plate the seat spring sets on and the other end to the back of the box.
The50 cal box holds a lot of necessary stuff.
and I didn't have to drill any holes in my baby.

JimC,

The main thing that I would have done different would have been to paint the box orange before mounting it. :)

I always like to see people be inventive.

Jim... those are good toolboxes... I had one on my L245DT...I now have a new L3010 HST and I need to mount one to it.. The toolbox behind the seat is not very deep. Welcome to the Forum....there are lots of good people with some great ideals for improving your machine.

Have a great day

Good Idea. Those boxes are great for tools. I have a few, but have yet to find the place that I want to put it. I can't put one where you did because of other implements and the backhoe.

I painted it to match the ROP, but have not taken a picture yet.
Considered orange, but figured I could always paint over the black.
Thanks

Good job on the toolbox Jim.

In the background, what are the round things sitting on the things that look like trailers?

They are what I call the "little train cars", I built them for the kids in Vacation Bible School at my church. The little kids like them so much, the mothers actually have to pull them out of them.
The first batch I built won first place in our July 4th parade.
The photo is of A friend of mine who pulled them with his BX 2200. I changed church membership, so I had to build 10 more for the kids at my new church.

Since I don't remove the loader, I've been thinking about mounting a plate on the brace that crosses above the tractor. If the front edge of the long dimension of the plate was almost flush with the brace it wouldn't interfere with the fuel tank access door. The short dimension of the rectangular plate would extend towards the back of the tractor to just above the instrument panel.

I think that would work for storing a chainsaw or a light toolbox.
