I had to laugh this morning as I was reading the post by Mousefield, Moving a Hot Tub. Moved my old hot tub - TractorByNet.com
It amazes me how most of us (including me) will take the time right in the middle of all the action to snap a picture and post it up on the forum to share. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great but still had to laugh to myself. The whole group of registered members, however many, is like one big family and I don't even personally know one sole on this forum. Actually better than a family. How does the saying go, "You can pick your friends but you cannot pick your family"

These kinds of posts just describe how useful our FELs can be and how creative we are with it's use. Perhaps we need a thread about the wackiest thing we ever moved with our tractors: FEL, 3PH, or towing.

I often stop to take a picture, cause I want to show it off here on TBN.

As far as FEL goes they are the reason many of us have tractors,
no more useful attachment IMO for non farm use and one of the most useful for farm use as well.

I wonder what percentage of tractors, especially CUTs are sold with loaders, I'm sure it's pretty high.

Funny because I'm just the opposite. I've started several projects that would take some time; days, weeks, months. I might take a shot at the beginning but once I start working I forget and usually by the time I think about another shot I too far along so just say, "forget it". A lot of times I get all my tools and implements together and just start working; forgetting to take a shot at the start. For instance, when building my camphouse; I took a shot when digging and pouring concrete footings but never remembered to take anymore. Same with my pond, I just got on the tractor and started removing trees from the old creekbed; never even thought about pics till I was too far along.

Same here. I have to borrow a digital camera anyway so it is very inconvenient for me. I just try to sometimes get pictures of the finished product sometime later.

That always makes me chuckle as well, I commonly think about my Grandfather and others of similar ilk farming. If he stopped to take pictures and post about everything he did I never would have been born, my mother and siblings would have all starved to death. How things change.

I sure appreciate seeing pics of what others are doing. Good way to lean what and sometimes what not to do/use. Sometimes pics are worth a 1,000 words.  Haven't seen any pics of a hot tub being moved with a tractor so did take the time to snap a few pics. When I got the tractor almost 3 years ago I never imagined using it for that purpose, it sure has been a handy tool to have around here. :)
