Tonneau Cover - What do you use to protect it? Amor- all?

My truck stays outside all year long and my tonneau cover is about 4 years old. From time to time I put on some armor all....but have heard that might not be the best to use. What have you used that helps protect and lengthen life of the cover?

Armor All has kind of fallen out of favor with the car nut and detailer crowd. It is suppose to dry stuff out over time and make it crack. In my Dodge owners manual, they say not to use it. 303 Aerospace Protectant is considered one of the best. I've never seen it on the shelf and have always just got it off the internet. Zano also makes some pretty good protectant. I have also just used a detail spray to clean and protect something like a tonneau cover.

303 Aerospace........ If you have any True Value Stores near you, they may have it. Mine do and its the only place I've seen it off the shelf.

OMG! Don't use Armor all! You might as well deep fry your tonneau cover. Indeed. 303 is one of the better products on the market and most manufacturers wil recomend non-petroleum based products for upkeep. Having been a detailer AND a accessory salesman I can tell you the producers of the tonneau will not replace one that has bacon fat (Armor all) on it. They will send it right back to you with a "Sorry bout your cover" letter.

303 is all that I use on vynil and tonto covers.
