Toe Berm

Well, they're building some new homes around my property and the builder is constructing a 'toe berm' along the lot line. Just what the heck is a 'toe berm'? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

A simple definition is a small, shallow sloped berm at the "Toe" of a slope. Your property or the other property, has a slope to it. The berm is built at the toe of the slope to control runoff. This keeps your manicured lawn from being covered with mud.
