OK here we go, bought a 4110 last year that I really like. HOWEVER now wish I would have gone with something bigger for a BH. Where our land is located there aren't any local areas to rent from so this sort of compounds the problem. I got one price from the JD dealer located up in NY. (we live in PA) and he gave me a price of 25K delivered for a 4210 with 420 loader and 47 BH. Before I check with any other dealers I would just like to know if this price is in the ballpark? THANKS

Bill- 4310 would make a better platform for loader and hoe- bigger wheels, better tires (6 ply vs. 4), and longer wheelbase. Just a thought.

The 4310 will take the 48 hoe too. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

landpride makes a hoe for the 4110. Don't know about any warranty issues though...

I got a 4310 with a 48 BH a 430 loader with a 4n1 bucket larger tires and all e options for 26900 less 4000 for a "82" 850 JD.

I have a 4110 as well , great machine. As Hazmat indicated , Landpride does make a BH for the 4110. In fact the dealer I bought my 4110 from had some 4110's config'd with this BH , or just wait until JD comes out with their BH that is reported to fit the 2210 and 4100 series tractors.

You just missed out on a 4600 w/48 hoe....delivering it Sat. for 23K. If I were getting a backhoe I would put it on the largest framed tractor (4500-4700) series. Especially a 48 hoe, since it can toss a lighter tractor around pretty easy. Don't think for a minute that these little hoes can compete with a dedicated excavator (even a small one) figure on how long a job will take you and then double it at least.
