Tn95da power reverser transmission issue

I have tn 95 da that is having transmission issue. It is not sense that it is in gear when first go to start. The light on the dash will flash out of gear. If u push in the clutch it takes off no problems,and if u use the reverser quickly after u have taking off it works fine. Any ideas where to look would be great. Thanks Jon
