Had a buddy that wanted me to post this question. I myself have not researched any on past posts. Haven't had a chance yet. Here goes.

He has a TN75DA. He's had it for a little while. Pretty experienced operator with tractors alike. Just the other day for no apparent reason he started getting an alarm going off inside the cab. Don't know for sure but was thinking maybe the seat alarm not positive on that. He starts tractor up. Once he releases e-brake then an alarm goes off for about 10 seconds. If he engages e-brake again. Alarm goes off. He's attempted to bybass the seat alarm and it still does same thing.

Anybody got a quick answer on this one?

Thanks Greg.

It does sound like the seat switch has failed open, or the wiring going to the seat switch has done so. With the tractor running, operator seated and P-brake applied, does the alarm sound when the PTO is engaged? Does the PTO dash icon switch on and off with the PTO? This would indicate an open seat switch circuit as well.

If the seat switch circuit does not respond to bypassing, that could indicate a blown fuse. Possible cause for that could be a pinched wire shorted out where it is routed through the seat suspension.
