I am looking for a rebuild kit for the steering cylinder on my NH TN65 2WD standard tractor?
Also, I am looking for the wiring diagrams to help me with some wiring problems I am trying to repair.
The short history is that I purchased this tractor after it had burnt in a garage fire. I am roughly 80% finished and need some help with info. to finish it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ben

What sort of wiring problems are you sorting out? How badly was the tractor burnt, and how much of the wiring had to be replaced? Have you had it running since then? Wiring diagrams vary greatly on those tractors, based on model year, serial number range, transmission options, synchro or power shuttle. Any NH dealer can get you a steering cyl kit.

Harry,
Thanks for the info. It was burnt pretty bad. All plastics and instr. cluster were melted completely. See attached pics.
I have started the tractor, It runs great. I replaced all the rubber lines, Fuel, Hydralic and radiator hoses. Had the Radiator pressure checked and passed. All fluids are changed and full with new filters. I replaced the lift pump because it was damaged as well. More info. below pics.

Anyway, I purchased a used wiring harness and have installed it on the tractor. I have found that I am missing the gear box side of the harness. I have the harness ordered from my local NH dealer also the steering cylinder kit. I am trying to get it to start with the new Ign. switch. I understand it has a neutral safety switch, a starter relay and a relay that energizes the inj. pump. I would like to know the wire colors and pinout locations of the connectors. This way I can check to make sure I have the correct power and ground were it belongs. I might be able to figure it out once I get the wiring harness. I also need to know the identification of the relays.
I have a standard tractor with the 8x8 trans. no shuttle shifting or any fancy frills.
Check out the pics and feel free to give me your thoughts. Thanks, Ben

The 8x8 is a shuttle shift. There should be a lever to the left of the seat as your sitting in it and that is the forward/reverse shuttle.

That is one heck of a project you took on. I can't imagine how many hours you have put into it already but I am looking forward to the finished pictures.

Harry,
I bought this project in Aug. last year. I have been working on it with my Dad who recently retired and wanted to help me. We have had alot of fun working on it together.
I am still learning the terminology of what this tractor has.
I most definitely will get some finished pics on here.
Thanks for your help, Ben

Robert,
Is there any way you could take some pictures of the engine area, Instrument cluster and plastics for me to use as reference for my tractor. I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Ben

Sure thing. Its dirty though so it may be hard to make out most things but if you have anything in specific you need don't hesitate to ask. I will try and take the pics tomorrow and post them up.

If you need high resolution photos I would probably send them to your email. Otherwise I was just going to take them with my phone which takes decent photos and post them directly from the TBN app.

Robert,
No need for high res. pictures. Anything you send will be a huge help. If for some reason I need high res pics I could let you know. I will keep watching for the pics. Thanks again, Ben
