TMG 26" 3PH Stump Grinder

Does anyone have one? There is a new one for sale five hours from me that is priced OK. It's the swing type, and it is about half the price of a Baumalight. I can't find any reviews on this model. I know TMG is kind of bottom of the barrel, but I am just using it for home use.

I ended up buying a no brand name Chinese walk behind stump grinder. It looks identical to all of the other grinders for sale here. The engine appears to be a Honda replica branded Lincon. I removed 20 stumps yesterday, and it works fine. A 3PH grinder would have been faster, but my tractor has a cab and might not get in to some tight spots.

It's a tough pill to swallow paying 3+ times as much for a name brand high quality implement. That said, I'm still in the "buy once, cry once" camp. I get very frustrated when lower quality stuff breaks or fails to perform.
For light use, and those able / willing to make repairs it can be a cost effective decision to buy lower tier equipment.
I went with a BaumaLite grinder, and it's been flawless over the past year.

FWIW - I don't grind my stumps. I don't have any in my yard and those I do have are WAY out on the property. None are visible from the house or the yard.

However - I have tried two brands of "stump rot" product. Both were supposed to increase the decomposition of stumps. I tested both on some of my large pine stumps. 26" to 38" on the base cut.

Neither did anything to increase the decomp of the stump.

The coyotes and badgers digging around and under my stumps did the most good. They were looking for some furry critters - making a home under the stumps.
