This is a very short review of my new Titan 1810 rotary cutter.
Specifications:
Cut Width 117"
Weight 1480#
Gear Boxes 120 Center 100 Outboard
Deck 7ga
Replaceable 1/4 " skid shoes
5/8" stump jumper
Cat 5 drive line
Gray power coated

Hooked up to the New Holland t4.75 with no issues. PTO shaft length fine. Ran in 540e for a couple hours with no issues. Cutter seems to be well made. Solid welds on deck top. Support members are stitch welded to allow water drainage. So far so good. I plan on using next week on some heavier material and can get a better feel for the unit.

Pros: Price
Rated for 3" material
Not too heavy
Power coated
Common parts availability
Heavy thick stump jumpers
Castle nut with cotter pin to lock blades in
Built in Decatur Tennessee

Cons: Thus far none but my review is certainly incomplete

Sure do look good for the $$. My neighbor bought a 6 foot and loves it.

Any more reviews/opinions? I'm looking at getting the same hog to pair with my Kubota 7060. Do you have any scalping issues? I really want the 10' but was worried about scalping.

No issues with scalping thus far. I put another 5 hours on the unit couple weeks ago bush hogging some pretty nasty stuff. Cutter performed great. You can tell the owner of the company has a good deal of experience in designing the cutter.

What I've read is the designer's of Kodiak split off and started up Titan. Not sure how true but I've been told that by a few. Definitely some similarities, but I like that Titan powder coats there mowers. Talked with the company to get some extra info, seem like great people.
I'm looking at the 5 footer for my Kubota so glad to see you like yours.

I've used my Titan 1810P (pull type) for a few hours now. It seems very sturdy, smooth and quiet for its size. Pulling it with my Kubota M5400DT has been no problem, even through some really thick stuff and steep slope.

It is 10 feet wide, so if you mow over a parallel ridge or hump, of course it will scalp, but I'm very impressed with the cut quality so far.

I'm glad I still have a 6-foot lift type, to get into harder to reach places, but the 10-foot is nice for cutting the more open areas.

I'm still a little surprised at the difficulty in reversing the pull-type. I thought I was an expert bass boat backer, but especially when you're used to just flipping the lift-type around in reverse, the pull-type feels a lot more clumsy than I would have thought. I'm still a rookie with it though.

We ran the 10 foot Howse types for many years. Gear box issues with both. Howse changed the output shaft splines so that I would have to buy a new gearbox. That sorta soured me on them. Need to double check parts availability on Howse since they are not manufacturing units anymore. I like the Titan better.
