Would it be okay to replace the 15x6.5-8 2 ply front tires with 16x6.5-8 4 ply or would there be too much difference in height between the back and front? I would think that I would have to replace both front at the same time if I do so. The latter size appears to be easier to find and I think being 4 ply would last longer. No fenders to be concerned about. Planning on buying the Carlisle turf saver or turf master.
Do I need to replace the valve stems as well? I also need to replace a 16x6.5-8 on a JD utility trailer towed by the X320 which I will be trying to change first (current tire is dry rotted). If I do okay changing the tire, I may try my hand at changing my 4310's front tire. I seem to have an issue with left-fronts (and left in the case of the trailer).
Thanks in advance!
