Tire size

Anyone know where i could get some differant tires for my b6100E. I thinks its about time i changed them. They are 20 years old and they dont hide their age to well either. Looking for something like a r4 tire but i doubt they come in a size that would fit my tractor. Any help would be appriciated thanks

Yah about that...i tried to get the side of the tires, but it seems like the numbers were rubbed off. I do have the owners manual for the tractor though...ordered one about a month ago...i think the sizes are in there. So i'll prob post those tomorrow since its kinda late to be running to my shop for them.

Bottom line is the difficulty in cross-matching the R-1 tire sizing to the R-4 or Turf tire sizing - even if you could read the tire size. Check with a Kubota dealer about rims/tires. Ask him about any aftermarket swaps he might have.

My Kubota dealer has a bunch of tires/rims "in the back" that they pull off of new tractors when the buyer wants another kind (e.g. buyer wants R4s and tractor has Ags so the dealer orders R4 tires&rims and the Ag tire/rim ends up "in the back"). They sell these "like new" (they usually have less than 50 hours on them) tire/rim sets for heavy discounts.

Thanks a lot. I didn't think of checking the tire sizes in my owners manuel before, because i did think it was a wise investment to get one of them. Just came back from the shop and managed to find out which tires are on my tractor. I guess i just need to do some tire shopping about now. THanks for the help, i found ur thread very useful. So any one know where to pick up a tire thats 27x8.5-15 and 20x8x10?
