I need to replace my rear tires as they are splitting apart between the paddles, and innetube is showing. I'm wondering who has done this and what tires did you buy? My front tires are new (couple years ago), so I'm going to have to figure out my rolling circumfrence so I keep the correct lead in front to back rolling ratio so I don't stress out the 4wd. Problem is it's seems to be difficult to find published rolling circumfrence info for some tires.
What have others bought as replacements??
thanks
mike

Is there a reason you want to change to a different size? I have lots of used 24" wheels and tires that are in good shape if it is a money issue...

If you are looking for dimensions you can try www.Firestoneag.com . They list all of the dimensions for all the tires they sell. You should be able to find something there.

Don't want to change, but I have to check to see if my front tires have same rolling circumfrence as the originals. I replaced the front a couple years ago with different brand, same size tire from a local place.
Then I can know for sure what my size options are for rears.
Am I off base in assuming that same size doesn't mean same rolling circumference? Even for same type tread?

Reviving an older thread, but still having trouble. I have OHTSU 6 X14 front tires and my rears are worn out (cracking) 9.5 X 24 rice tires. I understand that not all 9.5 X 24 have the same rolling circumference. I suppose i should match the rolling circumference for front to back and I've read that Yanmar designed a 2% lead in rolling circum for the front tires. Does anyone know for sure if that is true? If so I should measure my front tire rolling circumference and assure that my relacement rears are 2% less....
