timing window plug

Just replaced the injector pump on my MF245. I had to remove the timing window plug to align the pump, although I wouldn't call it removal. The old rubber just fell apart when I tried to pop it out. Can someone suggest where I might find a new plug?

Besides the obvious (Massey Ferguson/AGCO dealer) you can try any reputable diesel repair shop. They'll have access to PERKINS diesel parts (direct from Perkins, not through MF) Also, that engine was used in countless welders, generators, as well as other brands of tractors, (ALLIS CHALMERS comes to mind).

OR....whittle another from a piece of soft rubber.
