Comparison time for the STARE AND COMPARE

Varmintmist,

I bought mine at Theros Equipment in Fredricksburg. It's about a 5 hour drive from the Uniontown area. They have three stores. One is in New Baltimore, VA about 45 mins. closer to you. Also try Winchester equipment, about 3.5 hours away but I've never dealt with them. Both places have a website.

My TC 30 so far has been a real work horse. I've been using the FEL and boxblade clearing brush/grapevines and it's worked great. It's available with HST that comes standard with mid-PTO. The mid-pto is optional on the gear tranny.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Varmintmist,

I am about 1-2 hrs South of Butler, about 30-40 mins the other side of Indiana. Howdy, neighbor!

I like the loader because of the strength, but sometimes the speed (or lack thereof) drives me crazy. I am used to large equipment, and I've just resigned that it is slower so that I have time to remember not to overload the bucket /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Single operation- lift, or roll. Not really both at once. But the good news is that with the power and traction, it loads a full bucket of gravel, dirt, etc almost instantly.

Medium range, 1or2 gear and it'll push into the pile that is actually better than my full sized Case 2wd backhoe- proportionately, of course. Don't have to play with bucket to get a full load. Just drive up, lift a little and roll the bucket and you're done. It has an impressive balance of features.

Of course, there's nothing like MORE speed, and MORE power, regardless of topic /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have just over 50hrs, about half with PTO, and haven't had any of the PTO button problems. And I REALLY like the push button feature. It is very convenient, and I can press it without looking.

I also liked the open floor on the Mahindra. Lot's of foot room. It can be a bit tricky to wiggle in and out of the seat with all the levers, but many tractors are like that.

Try out the brands and find the right "fit"' for you. Everyone has different tastes. I liked the Mahindra best and the specs were what I was looking for in a tractor.

Glad to hear the family is okay. Trucks are replaceable, but I think you know all that /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Come on, even some of Okies know all about Chicora PA!!

Heck, I bet you even know about Ellwood City! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We'd love to have an Okie join us at our next TBN Lunch Meeting, but there's a long-standing rule that we can only have one McCloskey at a time. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif You'll have to talk to NIXON about getting rid of that rule if you want to come out here and join us some time. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
