Stuck in a bad spot. Had to leave my box behind in the woods as it was getting dark quick. After grading the church parking lot last friday I parked it in my barn. Dropped the box blade once in the barn and once on the path. Tried to lift and heard a loud pop. Scratched up the ROPS. Left a 2mm gap between lifter arm and housing. Should I be concerned? Should I pry it towards the housing? Anything else I should check? I'll definitely change the wire pins out with real pins. 20191024_185656.jpeg20191024_191233.jpeg20191024_191442.jpeg20191024_191431.jpeg20191024_193250.jpeg

I assume there is a retaining circlip on the outboard end of the rock shaft. Check both ends! If the retaining circlips are present, the gap is normal. If one is missing or deformed, replace it.

What ever those wire pig curls are that are supposed to fix the upper end of the lifting member, throw them in the trash and fit proper hitch pins.

Thanks. I got a reply from a guy who said the same thing. It's snap rings on each end...but same idea to make sure they aren't warp in or deformed. He said once I fix my tilt link and put it back together it should even out. Whew...

I'll absolutely switch those out. I have a box of pins just like in your image.

Definitely get a hitch pin in here. I keep a handful of different type and size pins in my tool box, I have had them fall out.

Snap rings were pushed over and chewed the outer edge. I put new rings in as the others seemed a bit sprung.20191029_145046.jpeg
