I have a new tc24da tractor and am going to buy a tiller and a box blade. All of this is new to me, owning and operating.
I am waiting for a call for a price on a 54" Muratori tiller and a 5' box blade. Will my tractor work well with the size of these attachments? I asked about a 48" tiller and box blade but the width of my tractor is 48". I think i need to cover my tracks.
I live in Alaska and have to ship the items up here. I have tried a few dealerships in the northwest area, all in an effort to reduce shipping cost. Any suggestions or recomendation for a dealer in the northwest region would be greatly appreciated. i hope to buy within the next few days. Greg

I believe NH recommends a maximum tiller size of 60" for the TC24. I have a 50" side shift tiller and it works great with my TC24. As for the box blade, the size that has been recommended to me by several different suppliers is 48" for a standard to HD box blade. Basically what that means is in compacted hard/undistrubed soil with the rippers down the tractor's practical limit is a 48" box blade. If you have soft, gravely or sandy type soil and are not planning on ripping deeply, you can easily use a 60" box blade for spreading/leveling dirt. I have a 5' H.D. box blade and in undisturbed hard clay I can stop the tractor but I have no trouble distributing loose or semi loose soil, gravel, etc.
