I have a like new 66" Befco tiller that I used in my business and would like to keep it to use on the BX2200. I have called dealers and asked this question " Is the Befco 66" to large for the BX." Some say it would be ok others say no, but we can sell you a new one. The tractor lifts the unit with ease and my garden is so loose from 12 years of tilling so I'm not sure if I would be ok. The book says 42" is the proper size so we"re talking 24" more here. I just hate the thought of having to get rid of a new tiller but on the other hand the BX isn't cheap and I don't wish to hurt it. What are your thoughts? Bigguy

We sell many new FC tillers each year going on the BX2200--48 inch is a perfect match for most and some 2200 owners can get away with the 57 inch model in soil conditions as you describe--If your front end is stable and handles the weight ok?--you could possibly remove a row of tines on each side of your tiller and get in line with width the mfgr suggests.--Ken Sweet

Put it on and use it, that will tell if it will
work OK.
The big problem is lifting it and u can do that.
I ran a 74" Bushhog on a L2900 kubota and
dad borrowed it to use on an older 254 IH.
Did a fine job.
I don't like to rip sod w/ it and will make a
toolbar to put the rippers out of the boxblade
to loosen soil before tilling.
