Backhoe Thumb for B-26 backhoe?

anyone know where to find a mechanical thumb for the B-26 backhoe? I will check with my dealer, but they really mark up their prices!

I don't know about other brand thumbs, but a Kubota thumb is substantially more expensive to install as an addon. I believe its a $1300-$1500 option from the factory. I had one quote from a dealer of about $2500 to install a factory thumb, including labor to install auxiliary hydraulic valve kit, hydraulic lines, and install quick attach coupler to bucket (pin-on backhoe bucket can't be used with factory thumb).

I bet than you can buy the longer pin (that is closer to the BH bucket) for the factory thumb and go to a fabrication shop and have one made (based off pictures from the brochure and your measurements) for a couple of hundred bucks .... certainly a lot cheaper than from Kubota
