Throttle on a 2518

I have a new 2518. Im curious about the throttle setting on it.

It seems to run at full speed just fine.

The tractor will only run throttled down about half way. Anything below that it will shut off.

Is the "throw" on the throttle that big? I cant imagine that it isnt turning full rpm's at the high setting. It seems to throw snow fine.

I can't imagine that it's just a winter thing. Is there a low and high type thing on the carb? And I just have the cable out of rig.

10 hours on the tractor.. just curious what others have. Not a big deal, just seems odd.

Probably just needs adjusted.

Dealer should have checked it before delivery.

I'd let them adjust it.

Don't mess with govenor settings, could get it all out of wack.
