Anyone know about this or a substitute product? I

For a tie rod repair on a FWA M7040, Kubota requires putting some threaded parts together with "ThreeBond 1372" and I can't find it anywhere. It appears to be more than just blue Loctite but I'm not sure. This is a description of 1372 from the ThreeBond website. It's an anaerobic high strength adhesive.

"Thermal strength improved type
It has a high softening point, and can maintain high strength even in a high-temperature environment of 150ーC.
It is good for fixing interlocking portion and sealing at locations requiring strength under heat.

It is a high strength, low-viscosity type with UV curability.

It can be used in a temperature range from below -40ーC to 150ーC (approx.). "

I have a can of ThreeBond that a Japanese guy gave me about 30yrs ago. I think ThreeBond works better than Loctite and it still works after all this time. Sorry, but I have no idea where to find it.

Looks like it’s available from Napa, Amazon, autozone. A bit pricey per tube.

Threebond is a brand name for lots of different product numbers. I need the 1372 and couldn't find it on Amazon or EBAY. They do carry other Threebond products but not the 1372. NAPA just told be they don't carry it so I'm back to square one and still looking for Threebond 1372 or it's substitute.

ThreeBond is a great product but I wouldn’t have any problem using Loctite,if that’s all I could find.

Look at threebond.com, it looks like they have a catalogue that point you in the right direction.

FYI, for anyone searching for this in the future, I have an answer and maybe it explains why Threebond 1372 is so hard to find. Kubota calls for this in steering applications.

I called Loctite industrial and had them cross reference 1372 to their products. Apparently 1372 can come in two forms and one is a two part product. For a tie rod to steering cylinder rod I can't think of anyone that wants a two part messy unless they have to. For those that want this two part Loctite substitute product, their part number is 1186840.

There are two backup Loctite products. One is Loctite 2046, which is blue and is food grade equipment qualified. Second backup is plain old blue Loctite, #243. Unless something changes, #243 is my plan.
