Tractor
Mahindra MAX 28XL, Jinma 254 (Sold)
I have been thinking of building a three point hitch forklift for my Mahindra Max28. Im not planning on lifting anything super heavy. I like the CADlift, it will lift 60 high and looks like it would lift anything I would need without over taxing my tractor. I also have a set of forks from a forklift that I had welded quick hitch on for my Bobcat skid steer. I have since sold the Bobcat and cut off the hitch plate from the forks and sold the plate. I kept the forks. My tractor has a pin on bucket and I didnt really want to mess with my loader. I use the loader all the time. I could build plates on the forks to mount to both front (pin on) and back of tractor (3 point hitch), but it wouldnt lift very high on the rear and wouldnt lift much weight on the front. Anyone build one a CADlift or something similar? Thanks

What is CADlift? Web search didn't find anything for a tractor.

Many years ago when I had a tractor I got a three point hitch forklift for it at a local farm auction:

It came with a hydraulic toplink, which is a necessity:

The forklift was very useful:

3pt Pallet Forks.png

This is what I want for 3 pt pallet forks...
Trying to find them in this area for less than 3 times the price, plus shipping is hard..
I can find them for a decent price, but they have to order them, then I only have a week to make a 500 km trip to get them..
It is worth the trip for the price, but the timing is the hard part..
Bugger..

That's what I have adapted myself to my tractor. Works great.

I modified my land pride FEL forks to fit onto my 3ph. The downside is that I did it before I had a QH, so I have to take it off to use it. I did it so I could lift pretty full IBC containers.

I made one from a hand fork lift, to stack round bales. It does have forks, and can interchange them. Putting it on my little Ford 2000, I wanted to stay as light as possible, although the lift capacity is 1000lbs., perfect for my 500lb. bales. Even regular small forklift masts would have been a lot heavier, than what I had in mind. I did have to put a larger bore cylinder on it, I got from Surplus Center. The original cylinder was only 3/4" bore, and used a hydrauic jack foot pump to raise the forks, which put out way more pressure than the tractor hydraulics. Pretty sure the one I used, is a 2" bore. At the time, I calculated it was enough to lift the 500 lb.bales, but not enough to over load the 1,000 lb. capacity.

I've since got a Bobcat to stack bales, but still occasionally use it as a forklift. It sure made it a lot easier to set my waste oil furnace up on it's 7' high stand. Then, 10 years later taking it back down, to reinstall in the new shop.

I have a 4400# set of QA FEL forks for my 48HP Kubota.
My little 32HP Ford 1920 does not have QA.
For it, I have a set of the 3pt. forks shown in your posting.
I had them shipped to me in New England, from Agri Supply, but I know, having had a Summer home in Nova Scotia, that shipping costs are VERY nasty in Canada.
It may not make you feel any better, but I love my 2000# 3pt. forks.
