If you're talking about an m5-111 & you're coming from an M62 with HST, I'd at the very least get the high end transmission & if they offer a push button speed range get it as well. You're going to have to relearn loader operations with anything not HST. The 111 is every bit as strong as the M62 with the FEL & the pto is twice that of the M62 & so much more stable on the millsides. I do miss the HST but Overall, the air-conditioning & heat makes up for it.

/ Thinking about an m6101 or 111 with fel? Price and ownership?
I had a M135GX and traded it for my M7. My nephew bought a M110GX which is very much like the M6-111 except for not having DEF. He bought it used with about 300 hours and now has 3,000, loves it. If you get a loader, get the KSR. Huge difference driving nephew’s vs mine when moving bales. A neighbor upgraded from a M100GX to a M6-141. Twice he had problems with DEF. Dirty DEF must be an issue because last year Kubota kept sending me coupons for 10 gallons free DEF every 3 months. I’ve never had a DEF problem with my M7. I wish I had been able to keep my M135GX because of size but I couldn’t afford to have 2 tractors so close in power. The M6 is so much more maneuverable than the M7 due to bevel gear vs planetary front axle.
