She sure is pretty...it sounds like a good deal. You think 'cause he's your friend he'd drop it down to $15k?

Sounds nice is it a 4x4?
I'm looking for a 3/4 or 1 ton 4X4 but can't use a lifted one as my BX 23 loader won't lift high enough to load it.

I'm guessing you're buying it as it's already your avatar pic! Good looking truck.

Is it the LBZ or the LLY Duramax engine model? There is a difference.

And ask about the service history, in particular the fuel injector replacement. It's an inherent problem that will never go away on certain engine models..

The vehicle ID number will identify that.

The 2004.5- 2006.5 model year Duramax 6600 is an LLY, and the vehicle will have a number 2 (number two) as the eighth digit of the VIN. Injectors and injector fuel return lines are outside the valve covers.

LLY motor the LBZ didnt come out till 2006. The major injector problem was with the LB7. The LLY had an over heating problem that was due to the turbo mouth piece. It was fixed with the LBZ or LMM mouth piece. thats already taken care of so dont have to worry about that.
