Not sure if this is a tractor or not, but she was thrilled when I pulled it off the trailer. Got a heck of a deal on it, the owner (and I) thought it had some serious gremlins. Turned out a loose battery and a light bulb socket that had melted to the exhaust explained all the issues.

She immediately ordered some Tinkerbell stickers to make it her own. And she mows the lawn (well, a front yards worth as we have 10 acres in lawn).

You're wife mows grass? Mine tried it once and nearly killed herself, so I took the mower away from her. Don't get me wrong, I love my wife, but she's dangerous around machinery of any kind. :confused2:

Congratulations. I have used a Craftsman riding mower for the last 7 years to cut our grass. It has served me well.

My wife can drive my Isuzu 8.5 ton NQR w/ no issue but when it
comes to my BX25 she refuses to even sit in the pilots seat! I bought a
JD L110 recently, she seems to be eyeballing it. We'll get her going
good on that then we'll get her in the BX25 seat...

Got an identical Craftsman... And I got it specifically for my wife 7 years ago when she had some leg issues. She wanted to be able to help cut the grass, but mostly to ride down to our pond to fish. She loves to fish.

I've had to replace the main belt every 18 months, but otherwise the little tractor is great. She still uses it, although some surgery has enabled her to actually walk down to the pond if she wants.

I have that same tractor, a 2001 model. Had it since new. The last two years its been giving me some trouble but I suppose given its age, it comes with the territory. Last week I just did a complete tune up....plugs, oil, air/fuel filters and put on a new set of blades. Since I've owned it, I've replaced the battery twice, replaced the pto clutch, replaced the fuel tank and changed the oil a few times. Oh and the belts. Overall, its been good to me, just trying to make it last a bit longer. I think the motor has lost some of its punch though and it leaks oil from one of the valve covers. I priced a new deck from sears recently because I thought I may have some bearing issues.....$660 dollars! No thanks, My blades were in rough shape and I think that was causing my vibration issue. Seems resolved with the new blades.
