Here are some pictures and here are a few views.
1. I am scheduled to have my loaders repair kit installed in April. I am very tired of a few of the comments by those making a mountain out a mole hill with regard to the loader. I am confident it will all be fine and in fact, it might be fine without the repair. Everything on a farm eventually needs a little welding from blades to, well everything. Big deal.
2. Chains. Notice how the front chained tires just climb up the bank to deposit the loader of snow. Rear chained tractors don't do this as well by far. I know because I have done it....for years and these front chains are really really nice for snow removal. We had more snow but it melted down a bit. Got to play with 5-6 inches of powder today.
3. Compressor. I am in the process of installing a compressor that will power a real train horn and also function as a portable air compressor. It is for fun mostly.
4. Foot pedal for engaging the rear wheels. Works well if you need more space for your heel.
5. Current problem. The Woods backhoe works great but when I took it off I discovered the hydraulic hose bumps right dab into the middle of the 3pt arm. I think that bracket is too long...the one with the part number on it. I tried to bend it but it is solid and thick. I think maybe if I take it off and bring it in to a metal shop, they can bend it for me. It has caused two hoses to break and will continue to do so until it is fixed. Pretty sure the wrong bracket was used for the install.
6. These chains are vbar ladder chains from tirechains.com. The tensioners are also pictured which only cost like $10.
