Here are some pictures and here are a few views.

1. I am scheduled to have my loaders repair kit installed in April. I am very tired of a few of the comments by those making a mountain out a mole hill with regard to the loader. I am confident it will all be fine and in fact, it might be fine without the repair. Everything on a farm eventually needs a little welding from blades to, well everything. Big deal.

2. Chains. Notice how the front chained tires just climb up the bank to deposit the loader of snow. Rear chained tractors don't do this as well by far. I know because I have done it....for years and these front chains are really really nice for snow removal. We had more snow but it melted down a bit. Got to play with 5-6 inches of powder today.

3. Compressor. I am in the process of installing a compressor that will power a real train horn and also function as a portable air compressor. It is for fun mostly.

4. Foot pedal for engaging the rear wheels. Works well if you need more space for your heel.

5. Current problem. The Woods backhoe works great but when I took it off I discovered the hydraulic hose bumps right dab into the middle of the 3pt arm. I think that bracket is too long...the one with the part number on it. I tried to bend it but it is solid and thick. I think maybe if I take it off and bring it in to a metal shop, they can bend it for me. It has caused two hoses to break and will continue to do so until it is fixed. Pretty sure the wrong bracket was used for the install.

6. These chains are vbar ladder chains from tirechains.com. The tensioners are also pictured which only cost like $10.

Do you have chains on the rear tires as well ? I've heard the front only shouldn't be chained, not sure about this.

Tks

I enjoyed the pics CBB, thanks for making them a size that doesn't take forever to download.
Tina, I can't speak for CBB but in my case I only have the fronts chained and have had no problems. From reading many reports on here of local and state crews plowing with chains on the front and having a good friend that plows with chains on the front (and back) I opted for just the front chains. I also questioned the tirechain.com folks and he said he's never heard of problems with chains on the front.

I don't know how Kioti usually does it but some brands will put a 90* elbow right before the male quick connector end. I have had two tractors with the elbow and have seen many others and it works to get the hose out of the way.

Amen to point # 1 CBB. I constantly think that when reading the other threads, and I have not heard anything about a loader fix. I am sure when the ducks are in a row, I will be informed. I am jealous of your train horn, I would like to rig something like that on my pickup. Post some pictures of the horn, and let us know how you wired it, and where you picked up the compressor. Good thread.

CBB, the factory remote quick-attach bracket goes up high in the
middle of the rear of the tractor. It is a PITA to install, but it is
out of the way of the 3-pt arms. Yours looks custom.

I have followed the Kioti loader arm issue closely and, despite that,
I bought my 3rd one, a CK20, in 2006. A great tractor at a great
price, like the CK30s I got in 2005. Note that most of the loaders
have not cracked, despite the design weakness.
